Our trail into the majestic Mountains of Lesotho.

We spent our first night at St Bernards Peak Mountain Lodge. Here we are half way on our ride up to St Bernards Peak and took a rest to absorb the breathtaking scenery. Every mountain top is within reach if you just keep climbing.

Time for a nibble amid nature at its finest.

Sehlabathebe National Park Lesotho. Time for a rest, a roll and a snack for the horses and a swim in the crystal clear waterfall for the riders

In the midst of the Lesotho mountains we are welcomed by the herdsman living in the mountains with their dogs tending their stock.

We stopped at a local shebeen (pub) in Lesotho where the locals greeted us with a song and a dance. The villagers are warm and friendly towards their visitors.

Our perfect day in the mountains coming to an end as we begin our descent to the border post at Bushmans Nek.
